my path, my journey, my story.
-
this was a transformative year in my life, i quit my career of 7 years, got married, started & quit another job, went vegan, ditched cigarettes and started practicing yoga.
-
I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach completing my first wellness certification. I learned so much in this program, it was grounded in nutrition but was really a holistic approach to wellness taking not only the physical element into account but also the mental, emotional and spiritual elements.
i also founded wae collaborative in 2019, which then become waeco wellness & the wae.

My business went completely online when covid hit, i started virtual group coaching and was able to support so many women transform their habits, their well-being & their lives.

I received my second wellness certification training with Mastin Kipp to be a Live Your Purpose Coach. In this program I learned polyvagal theory, emotional regulation and healing emotional trauma. I was trained in a trauma informed approach to finding purpose and the path to embodiment.
This training required me to go deeper in my own healing and was experiential learning; experiencing a new approach to mental health & healing trauma. I was able to then integrate this training into my offerings.
-
My third certification was my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training that I received from a studio in Austin, Tx called My Vinyasa Practice. My YTT was trauma informed and included pranayama, yoga nidra and meditation training. I was able to deepen my own yoga practice and incorporate yoga into waeco wellness.
-
I received another certification through My Vinayasa Practice, Somatic Healing. Again this training helped deepen my own healing & practice and was able to integrate into my offerings.

I took 4 months away from Instagram and coaching. I focused on teaching yoga and my own practice/journey. Now in 2026 I am coming back online, updating my offerings and finding a new evolution of myself and my business. Let’s see where the path leads next!

the buddha taught anatman or non-self, and i subscribe to that idea that there is no 'self' per-say, i see it is a construct. we're a compilation of every moment we have ever lived & a continuation of everything that came before us. we are now, we are being-ness. however, for the sake of having an about me page, here is a little bit about me...
I live with my husband Louie and our dog Dood. I think my 12 year old self would LOVE the life I am living now and this evolution of 'me'. I have done a lot of healing, un-learning and learning to get to this point. I don't say to get back to who I was, and I don't say that I have gotten to who I was always meant to be, we can't ever really go back and i think you are always who you're meant to be. Instead i see at it like this - we get to choose who we are in each and every moment and that choice can be automatic (rooted in trauma, past experience, maladaptive patterns etc.) or that choice can be intentional (rooted in love, connection and safety etc.) I really do live and breathe the work I do, waeco wellness is an extension of my ‘self’. I invest a lot of time in my own practice, learning and studying different modalities and streams of spirituality/ philosophy; I also love spending time outside. I am always drinking tea, walking with my dog and taking deep breaths. I also love sunrises, going to bed early and cooking nourishing meals. My favorite movie is a tie between Everything, Everywhere, All At Once and Little Miss Sunshine. My favorite show is The Office, I see myself in almost every character lol. I don't think I could pick a favorite food; but my favorite sandwhich is roasted veggies, hummus, green goddess and arugula on focaccia. I am known for my lavender matcha too, IYKYK - my love language is making tea for someone.
